Q4 Tourism Review October - December 2021

The recorded number of passengers travelling via sea transport for this quarter was 16905. This shows a tremendous increase in the sea travelling, an increase of 75%. Since Quarter 4 falls during the Christmas seasons, it is likely that an increase will occur. For this quarter also, Abaiang was again the most visited island by boat with 3328 pax given its close proximity to the capital of Tarawa.
