Mrs Neiti James Is the CEO of the Kiribati Insurance Corporation, a position she has occupied since 2016.  She has a wide experience within the insurance profession for 28 years holding different positions of Administrative Assistant, Asst Underwriting Manager, Branch Manager, Underwriting Manager and to the position of CEO.

She always deals with overseas reinsurance brokers on a day-to-day communication with Watson Towers Re now known as Gallaghers Re for more than 20 years including brokers from Aerosure.  She works closely with brokers for the large risk reinsurance placements and the Reinsurance Treaty.

As a keen insurance worker, she has always brought abundant energy, creativity, dedication, experience and knowledge to her work.  You can be assured that she will stay on top of all the details of a deal, to provide a smooth and easy-going transaction.
Eretii started work at MHMS in 2001 as a Nutritionist after graduation from Otago University in New Zealand where she attained a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Science (majoring in Human Nutrition) and of the National Chia Yi University, Taiwan, ROC with a master’s degree majoring on Public Health and NCDs and Food Science.

The former senior nutritionist has been Director of Public health in Kiribati since 2014.

Batiwate Talite

Batiwate Talite is a Qualified Primary School Teacher with 10 years’ experience in different primary schools on South Tarawa since 1996 and was also Secretary for the Kiribati National Union of Teachers for 6 years. She has also been involving with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Regional Rights Resource Team (RRRT) in workshops and short trainings on Human Fundamental Rights and Conventions. Part of her work then included coordinating workshops to Teachers and Police Officers on South Tarawa mainly on Human Rights.

Ms. Talite is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Public Administrations and as well as a Bachelor Of Law.

She joined Development Bank of Kiribati (DBK) as a Solicitor and Barrister and was promoted to Assistant CEO in 2020.
