Kiribati Tourism Review Q1 2022

The recorded number of passengers travelling via sea transport for this quarter was 7391. This shows a large drop in the sea travelling, a decrease of 56%. January of this quarter marked the introduction of COVID-19 into Kiribati which led to many outer islands closing their ports to travellers from South Tarawa.
